Business English class: Thought Group

Can you swim or ride bicycle? I think many people can.

Then can you teach how to swim or ride bicycle? Well, it become different thing.

I'm taking business English class and got something missed long time.

When I speak it is causing confusion for English as first language people.

That is the "thought group".

There is similar idea called "bunsetsu" in Japanese. I think it is "segment", which is shorter than paragraph.

The missing link was it is different way separate it in English & Japanese.

In English it supposed to be
"Glyconutrients | are neccessary | for human body."
But I was separating as like Japanese.
"Glyconutrients are | neccessary for | human body."

I think that's why I've got some comments as I speak too fast in my Toastmasters speech. I think it was not speed.

Well I'm really happy to find out about this. I can be better communicator. That will lead happier & wealthier.
